Meet Elaine Anderson- Founder of 123LOVEYOU

I am a single mom of three amazing children - Kristin, Mike and Nick!  Kristin, my youngest, is a nurse in North Carolina and marrying a wonderful man - Lawrence in Sept, 2023.  Mike is married to an amazing girl - Val and they are just starting a family. (Shhh!)  Nick is also married to a great girl - Amy and they have 2 sets of twins (3 yr and 1 yr), all girls, less than two years apart. I don't know how they do it!  And here I am having a blast entering this phase of life.... with my kids and grand-babies!

I have had different careers throughout my years but that didn't define me.  My favorite thing in the world was being a mom, helping people, creative pursuits and creating meaning thru tradition, preserving memories and having fun while doing so. 

The last few years family has been even more important to me and so evident how quickly things can change.  My granddaughter Eleni (my namesake and the older of the twins) was born without kidney function and day 2 of her life was on dialysis.  It was truly a miracle that she survived (thank you to Lurie's Hospital and tons of prayer) and at 1 1/2 years old, she had a kidney transplant. The whole experience deepened our love for each other as well as the banding together to help.  Because of this, I think I learned to love deeper and love more. 

 And now here we are a year later and my brother-in-law, an amazing man, was diagnosed with a non-smoking stage 4 lung cancer.  Another example of how so many lives are touched by one person and ripple out to touch even more. My parents, who are in their 90’s know even more deeply how important saying “love you” is. Life is fragile and can change on a dime as we all know!
